At STAY we are always working to improve our environmental and social impact. Likewise, we encourage our guests to join us, by living more sustainably and socially conscious.
We invite you to leave behind any surplus, unused and unopened non-perishable food items, and we will donate them to a local food back, where they will be distributed to those in need. We also accept donations at the STAY reception. To get involved, follow the simple steps below:

The STAY team will collect them after you leave, and donate them to a local food bank.
What can I donate?
Food items must be unopened, unused, non-perishable and within the use-by date. We have listed some examples of non-perishable food items below:
Your donations will be stored temporarily by the STAY team and delivered weekly to the foodbank at Castlehaven Community Centre. Once a week the foodbank team organizes donations received, and distributes them to the community. Food is delivered to those who need it most in the community such as rough sleepers, individuals and families who might be going through a tough time and require the support.
Not only will you be having a positive impact on someone else’s life, but donating your surplus items reduces your waste, helping you to lead a greener way of life.
